Madame Velvet is the owner of the Vixen Club. She is a fierce self-made woman with no qualms about how she makes her money - and neither do many of those who frequent the club either.

Over the years the Vixen Club has become not only the most popular gin-joint in the city, but also a meeting ground for the procurement of drugs, alcohol, weapons, fulfilling debauched fantasies and probably a fair amount of money laundering to boot.

None-the-less Madame Velvet puts on a great show. The best singers, dancers and (other) entertainment to an equally glittering a clientele.

Valentines night was expected to be another star-studded event, but tensions are beginning to run high. Promises are being made and broken, loyalties tested and lives are being played with. So who will break first and for who will tonight be the last show.

Amongst tonights entertainers and clientele you wil meet:

• Tallulah Belle - Headlining singer, ambitious and highly courted by the rich and famous club members.

• DI Troy Temple - part of the local constabulary and brother of Tallulah. Not averse to taking a back-hander, but still regarded as the black sheep of his gangster linked family.

• Sherrie Boudour - Dancer at the club and only there because she needed a job to support her daughter.

• Brandy Boudoir - Sherrie's daughter, she's been bought up at the club and knows no other home. Mme Velvet and the other entertainers are family to her.

• Titianna - Russian aristocracy who after fleeing Russia used her connections to make a very good living, not just as a burlesque dancer.

• Sir Marcus Thornfield - Member of Parliament and frequent visitor to the club.

• Absinthe - Another dancer at the club, other services provided for a small fee.
